Hey, it’s been awhile since I last updated here. It’s mid-March already, can’t believe time flew this fast.
So, what have I done these two months? Nothing much, really. Just hanging out pretty often with a very close friend – can’t imagine we’ve only known each other for a year (well a year soon, come April XD). Of course we have our disagreements and conflicts, but we have a lot of common hobbies and topics as well. Well, you know who you are. :) Thanks for being there for me all the time, giving in to my temperaments, helping me fix my phone when it went bonkers and gave me the courage to dismantle that dead internal HDD from my rig (and I learnt how to put one in from there). Can’t believe I’m actually doing “hands-on” on my rig now, omg. It’s kinda addictive. :D Maybe I’ll even attempt to build/assemble my next rig! LOL.
But hey, thank you. Really. :) Wish I could give you a huge bear hug right now. ^_^
Now I’m just looking towards the upcoming trip to KL in April! Hotel booked, coach tickets bought – now just waiting for the day to come! Just wanna go unwind in the hotel’s Club Room, go eat all the street food at Jalan Alor, go shop IT stuff at Low Yat Plaza, and grab that A&W across Lot10! And I’ve already made reservations at the Skybar for that much-recommended Petronas Twin Towers view. Can’t wait, can’t wait! :D Although there’s a slight apprehension, thinking about what’s gonna happen after the trip… but maybe I shouldn’t think too much about that huh. Everyone says girls just think too much, lol. Yeah.. just go with the flow? A lil hard to do that but.. I’ll try.
Oh yeah, Diablo 3 is coming! I’ve pre-ordered the CE from Amazon, and I’ll just play the digital version first, while waiting for my CE to arrive, lol. I hope it’ll live up to expectations! :D On the side note, I’ve re-subbed WoW for 12 months, just to get that Tyrael’s Charger. Ha-ha. And guess what, I’ve used the Scroll of Resurrection on a friend, and I get the transparent windrider too! :D :D It’s just weird flying on it when in Shadow Form… It went almost completely transparent!!! In the end it just looked like my priestess is sitting astride over empty air. -_-;;
Guess that’s the updates for now… Maybe I’ll post again after I’m back from the KL trip, with all the food photos. Haha! But don’t hold your breath for that! ;P
As expected… year 2012 didn’t start off that well. But… since I’m already kinda mentally prepared for that, it’s not that bad, I guess.
The weather’s been getting colder lately. It’s too cold to even step into the shower room. Brrrr…
Just went to A-Mei concert last night, and really, it was just amazing. Her vocals are so darn powerful, and the whole concert was so high! I was singing out loud with all others to her classics, and screaming my lungs out like a little girl. *laughs* I nearly lost my voice last night due to all that singing and screaming! It was seriously worth the ticket money. =)
All right, time to list some stuff to do for year 2012..
Travel plans for this year: KL trip in April (most likely confirmed trip :D); as well as a New Year countdown trip to Taiwan end-December. The latter is just a tentative idea as of now though… hard to say if I’ll definitely go for it. I do want to go, but it all depends on whether my friend can make it or not. None.
Movies to catch for this year: MI3: Ghost Protocol (watched), The Darkest Hour (watched), GI Joe, Expendables 2, The Hobbit, Battleship (Transformers-wannabe~), Underworld Awakening, Haywire (it’s like a female Bourne, you know? :D), Mirror Mirror (Julia Roberts as the evil queen? Yes, please!), aaaaaannndddd of course, how can I forget, THE AVENGERS?! Woohooooo~ It has that gorgeous, drool-worthy dude who acted in Thor~ What’s his name again? Oh, Chris Hemsworth. =D~ I hardly ever drool over Hollywood actors… and I think I can safely say he’s the first one. (Matt Damon doesn’t count, since I don’t particularly drool over him. I just love his movies, that’s all.)
Resolutions this year: None. LOL! Really! Maybe my resolutions are just to get all the above things done~! Oh yeah, and to hit back gym soon. Like, real soon. Yeah. As soon as this chilly season is over. ;)
I should be blogging more often.
But… I don’t feel like it.
Oops.
On a side note, happy new year. :) May 2012 be a better year for all of us. More smiles and laughter, less tears and heartbreaks.
Tired… both mentally and physically.
Went through an internal tug-of-war every month. Sigh… thank goodness there’s someone always there to hold me up, even though he’s always the ‘war casualty’. Sorry, and thank you… :3
Came back from a Genting trip at the beginning of the month… I don’t think I’ve ever been that relaxed during a Genting trip before. :) Couldn’t believe I had thoroughly enjoyed the trip amongst the clouds, despite breathing in some second-hand smoke and braving through some crowds at First World. And Genting didn’t had that limited food choices as what I remembered. They have so many different kind of food that we were kinda spoilt for choices. We ordered different stuff and shared with each other, so that we could get a taste of the various food offered. The buffet breakfast at Coffee Terrace was goooooood. So good that we had both of our breakfasts there. :D
We didn’t go to the theme park at all, so we literally just hung around the hotel room, walking around outside on the roads, enjoying the fresh mountain air and that sudden rain that poured down on the Saturday evening. =P It was an utterly relaxing weekend getaway. Thinking about it still brings a slight smile to my face. :)
Hong Kong trip in about one month’s time. Can’t wait for yet another relaxing (and longer!) holiday. I’m yearning for my dim sum (siew mai with whole prawn, anyone? =D) breakfasts, my wanton mee at 茶餐厅s, the shopping trips, the one-day trip to Ocean Park to ogle at the Giant Panda, the one night stay at Disneyland Hotel and catching the fireworks there. :3
This is the first time I’m going to a country with someone whom both of us don’t really know the country that well. *laughs* I think the experience will be fun! ^_^ It’s sure gonna require lots of patience and compromising, probably, but I’m sure it’ll strengthen our camaraderie. *grins*
Oh yes, I’m tired… as this entry was titled. But I’m happy too. Pretty odd combo here… but that’s the way things are at the moment. ^^

直到看了昨天的超偶，听到了一位参赛者唱这首歌，我才发现原来这歌的歌词是这么的感人肺腑的。其实参赛者唱得不是很好听哦… 可是也就是幸好他/她唱了，荧幕上有字幕，我才能有这个机会接触到《说了再见》的歌词。

I was a huge fan of Backstreet Boys when they first broke out of the boyband scene about 15 years ago. I bought almost every of their album, bought every magazine that featured them… I was just crazy over them. I had a small crush on Nick, and I just loved Brian’s vocals. After a few years, however, my interest in them waned after I graduated from JC…
Today a new colleague was playing this song on her iPhone, and my ears instantly perked up. Damn, the vocals sounded so familiar! And the lyrics… oh my. Although most love songs just have cliche lyrics, and this is no exception, but there are just a few lines that somehow clicked for me. After a quick check on SoundHound (and with confirmation from my colleague, of course), I got to know that the song she was playing was Drowning, by Backstreet Boys. No wonder they sounded familiar!
