Verdict? \u00a0Lovely. \u00a0Well worth all the hundreds of dollars that I paid… \u00a0The soundstage was unbelievable (considering it was just a pair of IEMs, not closed-ear canned headphones), and the clarity was just awesome! \u00a0The only ‘meh’ area is their bass… which is slightly lacking, but one can just remedy that by tweaking the EQ.<\/p>\n
Now I’m just deciding if I should change my DAP… Sansa Clip+’s SQ (sound quality) is one of the better ones out there already, and I really love the fact that it’s really small and portable. \u00a0An upgrade would be Cowon, but none of Cowon’s products are that <\/em>portable. \u00a0Perhaps I’ll just hold on to my Clip+ for now and see if Cowon’s gonna come up with something similar like Clip+, and one that comes with a meaner punch as well. \u00a0:P<\/p>\nRecently I got to know a nice girl from EDMW… it was really quite amusing – the way we met each other, of course. \u00a0It was all thanks to Starbucks pre-paid card. \u00a0XD \u00a0Someone made a thread on the forums about it, and both of us responded in the thread… and one thing led to another, and we started to send PMs to each other, and then we moved to emails. \u00a0The more we chatted, the more we realised that we have a lot of similarities. \u00a0We had similar bad experiences in relationships, when it comes to family members, etc. \u00a0The poor girl is now in hospital though, due to her bad bout of asthma attack. \u00a0Hope she can recover soon, and then we can meet up for some girls’ talk or something! \u00a0^^<\/p>\n
While I was browsing YouTube yesterday, I accidentally stumbled upon this video on this male singer participating in my favourite \u661f\u5149\u5927\u9053 PK competition… I didn’t catch that few episodes because it was one of those “post-season” shows. \u00a0Out of curiousity (because he sang \u6d6e\u5938, a song that was initially sang by Eason in Cantonese, then recently released by \u6797\u5fd7\u70ab in Chinese), I played the video to see how he sang it. \u00a0It was like… oh my… his voice was special, somehow… there’s this… magnetism in his voice that’s impossible to describe. \u00a0Intrigued, I started googling more videos on him, and after watching more videos of him singing live at variety shows and music competitions, I’m in love… with his voice. \u00a0He’s exceptionally good when he sang live, with just him strumming his guitar or playing on the keyboard. \u00a0I mean, really. \u00a0His studio recordings actually paled in comparison with his live “unplugged” versions!<\/p>\n

I actually teared up when listening to this live version! \u00a0Maybe it’s because of the lyrics, plus his raw emotions in his voice… he’s really more suited to sing live… he’s really, really good. \u00a0And the best part? \u00a0He’s a composer. \u00a0He composed most of his songs, and he writes songs for other artistes as well. \u00a0Amazing talent.<\/p>\n
