Ever since I took my blog URL off from my Facebook profile, I’ve been pondering if I should revive this blog.\u00a0 After all, one reason that I closed this blog was because of the massive amount of spam comments that I had to moderate every day.\u00a0 I wonder if there’ll be a reduction of spam comments now.\u00a0 Either I close off comments and make this strictly my own inane whining cesspit (just so to piss off people and don’t need to worry about backlash or people sending me hate mails \/ comments), or I open up comments again and go through all the moderating again.<\/p>\n
I think I’ll go along with the former.\u00a0 :D<\/p>\n
So yes, I’m going to revive this blog.\u00a0 And no, I’m not going to open up comments or allow this blog to be shown as a result in search engines.\u00a0 And yes, that means you can’t comment on any posts that I made (at least for now while I have not change my mind).\u00a0 If you have any opinions, feel free to SMS \/ email me.\u00a0 Though I’m sure you can’t be bothered to, in any case.<\/p>\n
Now on to the rest of the post.<\/p>\n
I’ve booked my airtickets to Finland (yes, again!) next January!\u00a0 And the more exciting part about it is that I’ll be flying there alone.\u00a0 That’s because Reko needed to be there by Christmas, and I wasn’t able to apply for leave during Christmas period (as I’ve already taken Christmas leave last year).\u00a0 So we decided that he would fly over first, and then I’ll join him in mid-January, before we come back to Singapore again in end-Jan.\u00a0 And yes, tickets are already booked!\u00a0 <3\u00a0 We are currently still deciding whether to squeeze in another Lapland trip (Saariselka this time, since Rovaniemi was disappointingly unappealing apart from the Santa Post Office).\u00a0 Domestic airtickets are cheap, but we are pondering if we should take a big, luxurious log cabin (similiar to the previous one we had rented), or a small and cosy one this time.\u00a0 Prices won’t be uber expensive, since according to Reko, it’s a non-peak season.\u00a0 Christmas is over, and ski season is not in yet.\u00a0 So yeah… if there’s no Lapland trip, then it’ll be just a two weeks rest and relax vacation, which is more than enough for me.\u00a0 I miss the solitary silence and the cold weather so much!\u00a0 (Not to mention his mom’s cooking!\u00a0 And Finland’s supermarkets!)<\/p>\n
These few weeks have been pretty hectic and tiring for me.\u00a0 Kelvin was posted to US for 2 months, and my mom and I had to stay over with my sis on alternate weeks to help out with her and Dylan.\u00a0 It’s pretty tough for her too, because she’s pregnant (again!).\u00a0 But she’s just like a super mom… even though her tummy is growing bigger by the day, she was able to carry Dylan on one hand and prepare milk for him on the other.\u00a0 o_O;;\u00a0 Amazing…\u00a0 I’m totally no good with kids, so all I could do is to chase the little one around to make sure he doesn’t fall and knock on his head, and to do some simple daily chores.\u00a0 I’ve learnt to carry a toddler though.<\/p>\n
Although I’m not that afraid of kids or detest them now, I still don’t want one for myself in the future.\u00a0 Yes, they are adorable at times when they make baby sounds, but to raise one and to take care of one is simply not what I want to do or go through.\u00a0 So, to all those who had said “you’ll love little kids once you spent more time with them!”, no.\u00a0 Just, no.<\/p>\n
Unless Reko (who doesn’t want, for now) wants one in the future, I will not even entertain the thought of having a baby.\u00a0 If he wants, then I guess we can sit down and discuss about it further.<\/p>\n
Burgh.\u00a0 Just had my third dose of cervix cancer vaccine.\u00a0 Now my left arm felt darn heavy and achey.\u00a0 I can’t even raise my left arm to comb my hair or to reach around my back because it just freaking ache so much.\u00a0 >_<\u00a0 Let’s hope it’ll get better before Friday…<\/p>\n
Oh yeah, Friday.\u00a0 <3 this coming Friday because Reko is finally coming back to Singapore!\u00a0 It’s been a month and I missed him.\u00a0 >.<<\/p>\n
