I’ve had DBS Altitude and Citi Premier Miles cards for awhile now, but because the accumulated points don’t have any expiry, I simply just spend and forget about it. After using the cards for like more than 5 years, I’ve got about 100K of miles in my DBS Altitude and about 150K miles in my Citi PM. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
And I’ve just applied for the Krisflyer UOB Mastercard – I mean, considering I’m solely flying SQ nowadays, that 3mpd is simply too good to pass on. I’m also using Kris+ to pay wherever possible…<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Why only now though, to be chasing miles? Maybe because I finally have enough miles to redeem business class flights, and I could finally have the flexibility in my travel dates (since I can travel on my own now without waiting for anyone to confirm their dates). I can finally go for cards with points expiry, because I can get the points transferred to Krisflyer miles and topping them up with my DBS\/Citibank miles (without expiry) for business class flights redemption, at any time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
