Busy with what, you ask?\u00a0 I’m busy with… watching Boys Over Flowers (Korean version).\u00a0 Ha ha ha!<\/p>\n
Okay well, I’ve already finished watching them.\u00a0 I was busy for the last few weeks ripping and converting my Limited Edition Boys Over Flowers DVDs (Korea version, published by KBS, bought from Yesasia.com) into .mp4 format so that I can save them into my iPod Touch for my upcoming Finland trip.<\/p>\n
The English subtitles, sadly, was not up to par.\u00a0 I’ve first watched the episodes online with Chinese subtitles, and I think the Chinese subtitles are a lot more accurate and detailed compared to the official English ones.\u00a0 In the end, after spending weeks to rip and convert the DVDs, now I’m downloading the YouTube episodes for my iPod Touch.\u00a0 Haha!\u00a0 Still, I’m gonna leave the NG scenes, Making Of and the Outtakes in my iPod Touch though.\u00a0 Those are exclusive (kinda?) footage that’s only available via the Limited Edition DVDs.<\/p>\n
And after watching the Korean version of Boys Over Flowers, guess what?\u00a0 I’m now crazy over one of the main actors, Kim Hyun Joong.\u00a0 Maybe it was because of his character in the drama, maybe it was because he was talented (in music, not in acting), maybe because he was so cute and charming, maybe because he was so… four-dimensional with his answers during interviews.\u00a0 I don’t know.\u00a0 LOL.<\/p>\n
Let’s see.\u00a0 This guy can sing very well, can play the guitar quite well, can play the piano very well, and he’s the leader of the KPOP band SS501.\u00a0 Did I mention that SS501 consists of five members, and all<\/strong> of them could sing really well?\u00a0 Yes, ALL of them can sing very well.\u00a0 They are not just a pretty boy band.<\/p>\n I’m totally in love with their recent songs, even though I don’t know a single bit of Korean.\u00a0 That’s what international music is all about, right >_>?\u00a0 Anyway, SS501 recently had released an album titled “Special Project”, because two of the members (including my idol) were too busy with their separate projects, and the other three decided to release a special album, kinda.\u00a0 The songs are really good! I particularly love the song “U R Man”.\u00a0 It’s really catchy, and it grows on you after a while.<\/p>\n Also, one song that you can’t miss was the ending song (EP) for Boys Over Flowers – Because I’m Stupid by SS501 (the three members team).\u00a0 It was (I’m assuming) kinda like Ji Hoo’s (the character that Kim Hyun Joong played) theme song.\u00a0 There are three versions of this song – the original song (that carries a light beat), the instrumental slow ballad version (that you can see\/hear Kim Hyun Joong play on the violin or on the guitar in the drama), as well as the accoustic version (slow ballad version with Kim Hyun Joong singing).\u00a0 This is, by far, my favourite song from Boys Over Flowers OST.\u00a0 Simply because the lyrics just fit his character Yoon Ji Hoo so much.\u00a0 *Sigh*…<\/p>\n I’ll fawn over his character in the drama some other time.\u00a0 Let’s just leave you with these two songs for now!<\/p>\n SS501 – U R Man (MV)
