Okay, so blogging on my new toy is quite a chore, as pop-ups and zoom-ins are not centered automatically.\u00a0 Normal posting is just fine, but there seems to be some problems when I try to upload photos.<\/p>\n
Oh well, guess its just Flickr or Ovi for mobile uploads in the future.\u00a0 XD<\/p>\n
I’m still trying to get used to the landscape full QWERTY keyboard for SMS.\u00a0 My fingers are pretty fat and chubby, so I kept pressing the wrong keys all the time.\u00a0 :D\u00a0 Nevertheless, it’s just something that I need to get used to, and if all else fails, there’s always the stylus which is tucked away snugly at the back of the phone.\u00a0 Of course, the handwriting recognition feature works very well too, and no matter how ugly my chinese characters are written on the screen, the phone just seems to know what I’m writing.\u00a0 :D<\/p>\n
On top of everything, the phone was surprising fast in responding to all the touches and pokes.\u00a0 Google Maps, an external app, was surprisingly accurate and loads almost 10x faster compared to the uber slow loading on my iPod Touch.<\/p>\n
One feature where my 5800 XpressMusic wins iPhone is that… my toy supports Flash.\u00a0 I can load websites with Flash with no problems at all.\u00a0 :P\u00a0 And the Youtube videos seem to load faster, with better picture and audio quality, compared to the same videos I watched with my iPod Touch.\u00a0 I’ve tried both over my home broadband WLAN, so the connection speed should be the same for both.\u00a0 Anyway, yay for me, as I can watch my Jam variety show videos as well as the Taiwanese drama videos on the go.\u00a0 (Let’s just hope I won’t download more than 50GB per month, yeah?\u00a0 =x)<\/p>\n
Of course there’s the problem which everyone was talking about – “one tap or double tap?” issue.\u00a0 I did noticed it, but it’s not too much of a problem.\u00a0 If one tap doesn’t get things done, then double tap.\u00a0 What’s the big deal o_O?\u00a0 I’m sure after using a certain function for a long period of time, you’ll instinctively know whether to tap once or double tap it for it to work.<\/p>\n
Now I’m gonna try my hands on the Comes With Music service.\u00a0 I don’t think it can compare with iTunes, but… at least I’ll just try it out and see how it works.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
